Author Guidelines<\/span><\/strong>
\nGeneral Information<\/strong>
\nThe submitted contributions will be selected and reviewed by the editors of the journal (editorial review). All changes suggested by the editors are introduced only after being discussed with the authors. The edited final version of a contribution is being published only after the authorization by the author(s).
\nBoth the submission and the editing and reviewing of the contributions are free of charge. By submitting a contribution there is no entitlement to get it published.
\nS\u00fcdosteurop\u00e4ische Hefte is a full Open Access journal, which means that all content will be freely accessible online. All articles will be published under the following Creative Commons Licence: Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Germany (CC BY-NC-ND 3.0 DE). All contributions published in the S\u00fcdosteurop\u00e4ische Hefte may be reproduced and printed for scientific purposes and personal use. The authors hold the copyright. The S\u00fcdosteurop\u00e4ische Hefte hold a non-exclusive exploitation right for the documents hosted at the homepage of the S\u00fcdosteurop\u00e4ische Hefte. All contents of the S\u00fcdosteurop\u00e4ische Hefte are Open-Access publications. According to the Berlin Declaration on Open Access to Knowledge in the Sciences and Humanities, the authors and rights holders of such publications grant to all users a free, irrevocable, worldwide, right of access to, and a license to copy, use, distribute, transmit and display the work publicly and to make and distribute derivative works, in any digital medium for any responsible purpose, subject to proper attribution of authorship (community standards, will continue to provide the mechanism for enforcement of proper attribution and responsible use of the published work, as they do now), as well as the right to make small numbers of printed copies for their personal use.

Submission Preparation Checklist<\/strong>
\nAs part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission’s compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
\nThe submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
\nThe submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
\nWhere available, URLs for the references have been provided.
\nThe text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
\nThe text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Manuscript Guidelines<\/a>, which is found in About the Journal.<\/p>\n
